MORE than 440 people attended a family science day at St Nicholas Priory Junior School in Great Yarmouth as part of a series of science workshops.
Run by the Shell Education Service, workshops took place in Yarmouth, Lowestoft and Bacton, inspiring more than 2,000 children.
The science day involved children and their families taking part in science investigations featuring electricity, energy transfer, forces and motion and materials.
Martin Wesley - one of the workshop leaders from the Shell Education Service - said: “This family science day and week of workshops have been a real success, they encourage children to explore and question science in a fun, hands-on way. It's clear many of the children have engaged with the excitement and fun of science.”
