FANS at a recent week of stock car, banger and greyhound race meetings at Yarmouth Stadium, generously supported the 1st Caister Scouts, Cubs, Beavers and their Leaders, who spent a busy week running tombola stalls to raise funds.

Thanks to the generosity of the supporters, the 1st Caister Troop will be able to purchase the new tents they need.

On the Saturday evening, Scout Daniel King made the presentation of The 1st Caister Scouts, Cubs and Beavers Trophy, to Jack Brown. Holding the winner, Tasmanian Grace, is Paula Brown, with owners Lynda Brown and Kerry Brown, holding her four week old daughter Lucie Bartrum. On the left are Julie Southgate, Pauline Zarzoso, Scout Anton Zarzoso and Beaver Rhys Smith.

On the following Wednesday evening, troop members present made the trophy presentation for The 1st Caister Scouts, Cubs and Beavers Trophy, to the winner of race two, Geordie Wizard, trained by Erica Samuels. Kennel hand Craig Samuels received the trophy from Scout,Jack Southgate, and with him is Oliver Barker and on the left, Julie Southgate. The four seated are, on the left, Jack Southgate, with Beavers Patrick McGrellis and William Graham, on the right Rory McGrellis.
