A NEW partnership is being set up in a bid to fast track improvements to Great Yarmouth railway station.
Station operator National Express East Anglia is teaming up with Norfolk County Council and Great Yarmouth Borough Council to streamline efforts to clean up the station. The news follows meeting held this week by Yarmouth MP Brandon Lewis with Jonathan Denby from National Express and transport minister Theresa Villiers.
Mr Lewis said: “Again a very positive meeting with National Express and I am looking forward to seeing the partnership programme up and running. I will continue to put the pressure on the relevant organisations until we see the results we are looking for.”
