THE man who died in a collision on the A12 at Hopton has been named by police. Andrew Mackay, 38, was the driver of a blue Ford Escort involved in the collision.
THE man who died in a collision on the A12 at Hopton has been named by police.
Andrew Mackay, 38, was the driver of a blue Ford Escort involved in the collision. He was Kennington Park Road in London.
The incident happened at about 7.10pm on Saturday on the Lowestoft-bound stretch of the road between the Beacon Park and Hopton roundabouts.
A silver BMW 840 was travelling towards Gorleston when the vehicle crossed the central reservation into the Lowestoft-bound carriageway and collided with the Ford Escort.
Two men in the BMW, aged 39 and 36, were both arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. Both men have been released on police bail pending further enquiries.
