ACLE police officers are looking for witnesses or anyone with information regarding a theft of 50 various coloured canaries from a property in Moulton St Mary.
The theft took place between 6pm on Thursday and 6am on Friday last week, when the birds, which are all about a year old, were taken from an aviary at a property in Acle Road, Moulton St Mary.
PC Ian Kennedy of Acle Police, said: “This is a distinctive theft with the birds stolen worth a substantial amount of money. I would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident, has information regarding it or has even been offered a large amount of birds to buy.”
