Firefighters help to rescue stranded cow

Four fire appliances were called out to rescue a cow that got stuck in a dyke near a railway line at Reedham on Saturday afternoon.

The crews were called out at 5.

Four fire appliances were called out to rescue a cow that got stuck in a dyke near a railway line at Reedham on Saturday afternoon.

The crews were called out at 5.35pm and it took them more than an hour to free the trapped animal.
