Firefighters tackled a house fire in Acle this afternoon.

Crews from Great Yarmouth and Gorleston were called to Pyebush Lane shortly after 1.40pm to reports of a building fire.

Wearing breathing apparatus, the used hose reel jets to extinguish the blaze.

A thermal imaging camera was used to check for any remaining hot areas and a fan was used to remove the smoke.
