A 12-year-old animal lover from Norfolk has been crowned the Pet Protector of the year yet again for his efforts in supporting the pet charity PDSA.
Nathan Williamson, from Fleggburgh, near Great Yarmouth, regularly donates bags of his old clothing to the PDSA charity shop in Norwich and is an extremely active member of the group's Pet Protectors youth section.
It is the second year in a row that Nathan has scooped the prize.
Nathan, an Acle High School pupil, said: “I really love animals and have lots of pets, including a dog, two cats and two guinea pigs.
“I joined the Pet Protectors Club to raise funds for the PDSA so vets and nurses could treat pets like mine.”
Nathan was given the award in Norwich on Monday. Vicki Craighill, Pet Protectors Club manager said: “Nathan has once again proven his devotion to animals.
“His efforts have raised vital funds for the PDSA to treat many sick and injured pets in the local area. “
