As part of a GCSE media project five pupils from Flegg High School, Martham, have produced a leaflet to encourage more children to visit Great Yarmouth's Town Hall.
Katie Stillwell, 16, Laura Giles, 15 and Chloe Baker, 16, spoke to primary school pupils, and Ben Johnson, 16 and Ross Cruickshank, 15, surveyed their class mates.
Designs by Ben and Ross were highly commended by the judging panel who were impressed by how the borough council's logo colours had been used in the leaflet.
However, after a short debate judges, mayor and mayoress Terry and Jenny Easter, the borough council's civic events co-ordinator Laura Goodman, borough solicitor Chris Skinner, decided Chloe's red and blue leaflet stood out among the rest.
Her leaflet was filled with information, pictures, a puzzle and a child-friendly cartoon character.
Mr Easter presented the pupils with gift vouchers. The project will contribute 25pc towards their final marks.
