Eco Dragons' Den was an innovative eco business ideas competition for Norfolk students, aged 11-15 and organised by UEA Carbon Management MBA students in support of the Norwich Carbon Reduction Trust.

Team Velocity of Flegg High pitched “Sparks”, a pedal-powered generator for bicycles that could be used to charge batteries for mobile phones, MP3 players and other devices. They won �200 cash courtesy of Anglia Print and a great day out including indoor climbing for up to 30 students from Flegg High at Sportspark.

And in third place were Team Eco Warriors of John Grant School, Caister who pitched hand-made reusable cloth shopping bags. Each member won a �10 book voucher courtesy of Waterstones. Additionally, each team of finalists also won a family swim for up to 4 people courtesy of the Sportspark.
