Students at Flegg High School are rolling up their sleeves to make chutney and various breads ahead of their next farmers’ market.
And giving them a helping hand before the event was Bookers Wholesale.
The trade superstore donated some of the ingredients to make their sauces and relish, a popular staple of the growing market that encourages people to buy local.
A spokesman from Bookers said the company was pleased to support Flegg and happy to be a part of a great community event.
The students have promised to take some chutney back for the staff as a thank you for their donation.
The annual Farmers Market and Village Fayre is being held at the Somerton Road school on Saturday June 24 10-4pm.
There will be a wide range of fresh produce, plants and flowers, craft stalls, barbecue, games, bouncy castle and penalty shoot out as well as entertainment.
