A playhouse in the back garden of a Norfolk village home that resembles a cottage and has a touch of Harry Potter about it has won a top award at the Shed of the Year awards.

Craig Clavin had built the Harry Potter-inspired shed for his twin sons Hugo and Ralph in their back garden of their home in Fleggburgh.

It was entered in the best budget shed category of the Shed of the Year awards and has been announced as the winner of that section, following a public vote.

The shed was made from mainly recycled materials such as scaffolding boards, old fence posts and reclaimed roof tiles and it cost less than £500 to build, with the £100 roof being the most expensive part.

Mr Clavin, 33 and who is a pipeline engineer, said: “We had quite a lot of support from people in Norfolk and we are happy to have won the best budget shed category.
