As Britain's most easterly point is given a £1 million funding grant by the government to transform it into a landmark destination, we want to know what you would like to see installed at Ness Point in Lowestoft?

Following the successful bid by Waveney District Council - on behalf of the Lowestoft Coastal Communities Team (CCT) - to the Department of Communities and Local Government to receive the grant to regenerate Lowestoft Ness, current plans are for the site to be transformed into a tourist destination similar to other cardinal points at Land's End and John O'Groats.

And it is hoped the project will improve access, knowledge, participation and enjoyment of the area and its unique maritime heritage which in turn will provide a boost to the local economy.
