THE children at Hillside Primary School in Bradwell gathered to say thank you to the man who has helped them cross the road safely for the last eight years. On Monday, in a special assembly on the theme of “Keeping Safe”, youngsters presented Kenneth Bloomfield with a gift to say thank you and farewell.
Mr Bloomfield has carried out his responsibility as the road crossing patrol - lollipop man - at Mill Lane in Bradwell.
Headteacher Mrs Christine Bryant said: “The children, their parents and other adults who rely on Mr Bloomfield will miss him.”
