A landmark listed building in Great Yarmouth which is being converted into seven flats is up sale for £500,000.

The former Lloyds Bank in Hall Quay was bought by Atal Properties - a London-based company - at auction in 2016.

Since then it has been granted planning permission from Great Yarmouth Borough Council for it to be used as a shop including permission for the sale of food and drink.

Atal Properties were also given the go ahead to develop seven self contained flats on the first and second floor last year.

Work on the flats is almost complete.

Aldreds estate agents have the former banking hall up for sale on their website.

It describes the building as being in a “prominent location” and says it would suit “a variety of uses at ground floor such as a shop, hospitality restaurant and others”.

The Grade II listed building became empty in 2014 when Lloyds closed two of its branches to create a new “super bank” in the Market Place.
