A crackdown on drug dealers has led to four arrests in Great Yarmouth.

Officers raided a home in York Road at around 5.45pm on Thursday and seized a quantity of Class A drugs as part of Operation Gravity.

A 17-year-old boy and a 20-year-old man, both from London, and a 37-year-old woman and a 42-year-old man, both from the Great Yarmouth area, were arrested on suspicion of drug supply offences.

The arrests come as Norfolk Police revealed this week more than 350 people were arrested in the last year as part of the clampdown.

The operation launched last December in response to an increase in violent crime associated with drugs.

The campaign has focused on enforcement, targeting criminals transporting drugs into Norfolk, known as County Lines, and partnership working to help identify those vulnerable to this type of crime.
