POLICE investigating the robbery of a woman near Lowestoft made a fourth arrest yesterday.A 23-year-old man was arrested in Norfolk and taken into custody at Lowestoft police station for questioning in relation to the robbery of a 45-year-old woman near Rackhams Corner, Corton, early on Tuesday morning.

A 23-year-old man was arrested in Norfolk and taken into custody at Lowestoft police station for questioning in relation to the robbery of a 45-year-old woman near Rackhams Corner, Corton, early on Tuesday morning.

Twenty-two-year-old Matthew Garrod, who was arrested on Tuesday, yesterday appeared at Lowestoft magistrates court charged with robbery, theft, handling stolen goods and making off without payment in relation to other incidents which took place overnight on Monday/Tuesday.

Garrod, of no fixed address, was remanded in custody and will now appear at Ipswich Crown Court on July 14.

A 17-year-old boy arrested in connection with the incident has been bailed to return to Lowestoft police station today.

A 14-year-old boy arrested on Wednesday has been bailed to return to police on July 29.
