Freethorpe primary complete coaching

PUPILS from Year 6 of Freethorpe Primary completed a six week coaching course at Halvergate Top Green Bowls Club, co-ordinated by coaches Sue Smith and Alec Sumpter.

PUPILS from Year 6 of Freethorpe Primary completed a six week coaching course at Halvergate Top Green Bowls Club, co-ordinated by coaches Sue Smith and Alec Sumpter. Over the six weeks the children had been competing in Target Bowls.

The overall winner was Daniel Rowe who was presented with the special trophy. Hollie Brister and Liam Browne were winners of the Girls and Boys singles trophies with Madelaine Hobbs and Ashley Smith runners up. Jordan Lee-Castle and Bethan Browne were awarded certificates and medallions for most improved players. The trophies were presented by David Hannant on behalf of Halvergate Top Green. The picture shows the pupils together with their coaches and helpers.
