A FUNDRAISER will be hoping it's a case of “hair today, lots of money tomorrow” when she has her head shaved to raise money for the British Heart Foundation (BHF).
A FUNDRAISER will be hoping it's a case of “hair today, lots of money tomorrow” when she has her head shaved to raise money for the British Heart Foundation (BHF).
Samantha Worsley, 33, of Gaywood Close, Caister is aiming to raise 1,000 for the charity when she joins her colleagues at Argos in Great Yarmouth Market Place, who are also doing fundraising events on July 25.
Miss Worsley has so far raised 690 for the charity and said the fundraiser was being held because BHF was the retailer's chosen charity.
However, the customer services assistant added she had gained extra inspiration from her colleague Lorraine Higgins, who lost her mother to heart disease five years ago.
Store manager Carl Robinson will also be performing a drag act on the day of the fundraiser, while stock room manager Carl Robinson will be getting his legs waxed. Argos staff in Yarmouth hold annual charity fundraisers.
“I am not too nervous about the fundraiser- it's only hair after all and I think it will be really good,” Miss Worsley added.
