Acorn Country Music Club in Hemsby held a charity evening in aid of The Hemsby Lifeboat and her crew in appreciation of all the hard work that they have done over the last few weeks in helping the people who have lost their homes and belongings.
They also helped to clear the beach of debris as well as giving comfort and sustenance to the people involved in the terrible storm surge and coastal erosion.
The entertainment was Kevin Barry and the evening raised a magnificent £500. Thanks go to everyone involved in any way for making the evening a great success. Coxswain Dan Hurd and secretary Chris Batten received the money from club organiser Jack Beck.
