Cherry Lane garden centre is launching a gardening club for children aged between four and 11 years called The Growing Patch.
The store at Fritton is inviting applications from primary schools and children's community groups, including Brownies, Cubs, and church groups, to join the scheme.
Marketing manager, Alan Hatcher, said: “Each group will be allocated a plot measuring 2m x 2m and will be invited to visit the garden centre to learn more about how to plant and tend vegetables.
“They will receive a starter pack containing everything the children need to get gardening - seeds, tools and full planting and care instructions, with clear information explaining the health benefits of growing your own fruit and vegetables.”
