COMMUNITIIES across the county are being offered their last chance to sign up for the 2010 Norfolk Village Games.
More than 20 villages have already entered teams and organiser Active Norfolk is keen to hear from others who want to show off their sporting prowess.
This year's games will be taking part in September, and will be held in Cromer, Aylsham and Watton.
They are designed to boost community spirit and there will be a mixture of activities on offer including five-a-side football, golf, tug of war, bowls, badminton, table tennis and the chance to try something new, such as archery.
There will be three tiers of competition - small villages, medium villages and market towns/larger villages. Village teams can consist of one person taking part in one sport, such as badminton singles, to a village entering a team in each sport with the aim of winning and becoming district village games champions.
To sign up or for information, villages should visit www.activenorfolk.org/villagegames or call 01603 697008.
