Time is running out to buy a ticket for the mayor of Great Yarmouth's annual civic ball at the Ocean Room in Gorleston on Saturday, April 17.The ball has been organised by mayor Tony Smith to raise funds for his chosen charities of his year in office - the St Nicholas Church Preservation Trust, the Kingfisher Boxing Club and the Winterton marine cadets.
Time is running out to buy a ticket for the mayor of Great Yarmouth's annual civic ball at the Ocean Room in Gorleston on Saturday, April 17.
The ball has been organised by mayor Tony Smith to raise funds for his chosen charities of his year in office - the St Nicholas Church Preservation Trust, the Kingfisher Boxing Club and the Winterton marine cadets.
It will be Mr Smith's last fund-raising event as mayor.
He said: “The civic ball gives me a chance to have a real final push at raising more donations for those charities. It has been a huge honour to be mayor for the town in which I was born.”
