A GROUP of children in Years 5 and 6 at Herman Primary School in Gorleston have been working on saving energy and helping the environment. They presented an assembly informng the school of their work and asking them to help save energy. This week they took part in Switch off Keep Cool week trying to save 15pc of the school's energy. A group of energy monitors spent the week checking the school to make sure energy was not being wasted through lights, heating or electrical equipment. The sessions are nearly over but the school intends to keep working on saving energy and doing their small bit for the environment.
