MORE than 1,000 homes in the Gorleston area are currently without power. Energy supplier EDF has confirmed 1,300 homes lost power just after 8am today due to a fault on the underground network.

Energy supplier EDF has confirmed 1,300 homes lost power just after 8am today due to a fault on the underground network.
Network engineers are on scene now trying to resolve the problem which has forced the closure of two schools - Oriel High School and Herman Primary School.
An EDF Energy spokeswoman said: “We would like to apologise for the inconvenience caused.”
