Gorleston fail to stop appeal

POLICE are appealing for witnesses to an accident involving a Jeep Cherokee in Gorleston when the car's driver failed to stop.

Officers closed Avondale Road in Gorleston for two hours after being called out to the crash, which only involved the Cherokee, at 8am today.

Officers closed Avondale Road in Gorleston for two hours after being called out to the crash, which only involved the Cherokee, at 8am today.

The vehicle had overturned onto its side, blocking the road, but nobody was injured during the incident.

A police spokesman said there may have been other people in the vehicle.
