THIS year is shaping up nicely for model Georgia Edwards and 2010 is looking pretty good too.

The Gorleston girl will be appearing in a couple calendars next year after winning two recent modelling contests.

Georgia walked away the winner from the 100 entrants in the Kerri Parker Academy Miss April contest judged by celebrity TV chef Steven Saunders.

She will be competing amongst 30 finalists in the model of the year final in Norwich in December hoping to take home the title and over £10,000 worth of prizes

The 16 year old will also appear as Miss April in the 2010 Grid Girls calendar and trackside in front of the TV cameras at Snetterton motor racing circuit in July.

Georgia, whose dad Russell owns the Ocean Room, is also a familiar face around town on billboards advertising the Quasar laser game arcade.
