Police have charged a man in connection with causing unnecessary suffering to an animal.
Robert Loombe, 46, of New College Close in Gorleston was charged after police investigated reports of a man dragging a puppy along Magdalen Way yesterday.
He was also charged with a public order offence and being in possession of cannabis.
Loombe was remanded into custody and is due to appear at Norwich Magistrates Court this morning, Wednesday.
