A leading figure in the Norfolk tourism industry will be pounding the streets of London on April 25 to raise money for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust.Ian Hacon, the chief executive of Blue Sky Leisure which owns Kelling Heath and Woodhill Holiday Parks in north Norfolk, is on the final leg of training for the London Marathon.
A leading figure in the Norfolk tourism industry will be pounding the streets of London on April 25 to raise money for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust.
Ian Hacon, the chief executive of Blue Sky Leisure which owns Kelling Heath and Woodhill Holiday Parks in north Norfolk, is on the final leg of training for the London Marathon.
It will be the 41-year-old father of three's second marathon.
He completed the run last year in three hours, 31 minutes and 39 seconds and finished 4,387th.
Mr Hacon, who lives in Gorleston, said: “Completing the marathon last year was a dream come true. I am looking forward to beating last year's attempt.”
And Mr Hacon won't be able to rest on his laurels after this year's marathons as two months later he will be taking part in an Ironman triathlon in support of the Cystic Fibrosis Trust.
