POLICE in Gorleston will be tackling crime and anti-social behaviour on the High Street in the run up to Christmas.

It was one of three priorities adopted by the local safer neighbourhood team (SNT) at its action meeting last week.

Other priorities include anti-social behaviour at Waterloo Stores and Trafalgar Road East and pedal cyclists without lights.

In a meeting last week members of the KIN (Key Individual Network) were satisfied previous problems had been addressed including illegal parking on Baker Street, Church Lane, High Street and Lowestoft Road and anti-social behaviour connected to licensed premises.

The next meeting will be held at St Peters Church Hall on January 21.
