Female passenger is assaulted in Gorleston road rage incident

A female passenger was attacked in a road rage incident near the James Paget University Hospital in Gorleston.

The woman was in a white Ford Focus which had stopped at the traffic lights on Lowestoft Road.

The male driver of a silver Vauxhall Insignia then left his vehicle and approached the car and became involved in a verbal altercation with the female passenger in the Ford Focus, before assaulting her.

The road rage incident happened at about 10.45am on Wednesday, November 1.

Anyone who may have witnessed the incident, or the sequence of events leading up to it, should contact PC Jon Silom at Great Yarmouth Police Station on 101.
