Temporary traffic lights causing severe delays for motorists around James Paget University Hospital

Motorists are facing severe delays through Gorleston around the James Paget University Hospital, due to malfunctions with the temporary traffic lights.

Delays of between 40 minutes and an hour are expected in the area, with problems exacerbated by closures of Nelson Road and the further roads in Scratby.

First Norwich bus providers Tweeted an update on the situation, stating the traffic is affecting its 1, 1A, 8, 9 x1 and x11 services.

It said: “Major issues in Yarmouth, temp lights at JPH stuck on red, Delays of 40mins-1 hour.”
