On Saturday Jeannette Emmerson, 46, lost about 14 inches of hair thanks to Katie Hensby of Generation in Great Yarmouth in aid of the Louise Hamilton Centre at the James Paget University Hospital and the Little Princess Trust.

The mother-of two is a member of the Phoenix Karate School, which in 2016 mourned the loss of instructor and 6th Dan Charlie Trorey, who died aged 62.

Her hair will be donated to the Little Princess Trust which provides real hair wigs to youngsters who have lost their hair due to cancer.
