One of the residents of a Great Yarmouth flat that was sealed off and shut down by police has said he had never acted anti-socially to his neighbours.
Last week the flat on Ordnance Road was the subject of a court order following an investigation by Great Yarmouth Borough Council and Great Yarmouth police.
They said the flat had been the centre of anti-social behaviour and drug use.
One of the occupants, a man aged 52, said: “I have never used antisocial behaviour to my neighbours.”
He also said a recent incident had seen “a mob” try to enter the flat in the mistaken belief there was money and drugs inside. The man also said he had helped a stab victim at his flat who had been attacked in another road.
The man also said he was not given a chance to represent himself in the magistrates court as the order to shut down the flat for three months was made last week.
