Great Yarmouth Borough Council continues to suffer from technical difficulties in light of ICT issues at Norfolk County Council.

The council has advised members of the public not to visit its reception or call its switchboard, unless in the case of an emergency.

The problems began this morning, following a power surge at County Hall, which has prevented its staff from accessing email, telephones and its customer contact centre.

Posting on Facebook, the borough council said it expects problems to continue throughout the day.
Anybody needing to contact the council should do so on 01493 330369
