GREAT Yarmouth’s MP Brandon Lewis spoke in parliament today during Prime Minister’s Questions about the renewable energy sector and its potential for the town.
Mr Lewis asked for the government’s support on the work being done by local companies, such as the East of England Energy Group alongside the Borough and County Councils, to further develop the renewable energy industry for teh area.
He said: “The renewable energy market has huge potential for Great Yarmouth, with the possibilities that offshore wind farms offer and the facilities of the outer harbour Great Yarmouth is very well placed in becoming a big player in this market.”
