A guided heritage walk will be held around Great Yarmouth as part of a Mindful Monday event.
The walk on Monday, September 24 starts at 11am from the Town Hall and involves Great Yarmouth and Waveney Mind, a heritage society and the Time and Tide Museum.
Linda Symonds, adult community services team manager at Great Yarmouth and Waveney Mind, said: “We’re really excited to be involved in Mindful Monday and to encourage more people with mental health problems to get engaged with physical activity.
“We will be delivering, in collaboration with the local heritage society and The Time and Tide Museum, a guided heritage walk around the town, connecting the historic South Quay to the sea front and silver darlings herring industry and the merchants houses and rows.”
Anyone interested in taking part in Mindful Monday should meet at Great Yarmouth Town Hall at 11am. For further information, email reception@gywmind.org.uk or telephone 01493 842129.
