The team behind a Great Yarmouth gym have all become Dementia Friends, supporting the town’s push to become more dementia friendly.
The BWell Gym were awarded a certificate for Dementia Awareness, having undertaken a Dementia Awareness Session.
Harry Woods is the chair of Great Yarmouth Dementia Action Alliance, and said: “It is great to see another organisation join the GYDAA and support the move to help Great Yarmouth become a Dementia friendly town.”
BWell has designed a bespoke membership, the first of its kind in Norfolk.
It offers client and carer to come and exercise on a two for one membership deal.
They are invited to sessions between 12.30pm and 3.30pm, from Monday to Friday, including a full induction.
Those who would like to join the Great Yarmouth Dementia Action Alliance are invited to contact 01493 262052 for a free training session.
