A builders merchant has given a Christmas boost to families in need across Great Yarmouth during the festive season.
Staff and customers at the town’s Jewson branch have donated more than £540 worth of toys and tinned food for the Salvation Army’s tin and toy appeal.
The donations will go to children and families who might otherwise go without at Christmas. Toy parcels and food hampers are being distributed to those in need by Salvation Army volunteers.
The donations were collected by Alan Smith and Katerina Lennox.
Branch manager David Jones said: “It was really great to be involved in this appeal for the Salvation Army and knowing it was going to local families, and I would really like to thank the staff and customers for being so generous.”
