Dozens of children have taken part in a festive parade through Great Yarmouth.
Tonight the town’s annual lantern parade saw children show off their creations as they made their way from Christchurch on King Street at 6.30pm to the town centre.
It parade was led by a pair of donkeys dressed as reindeer as children proudly waved their colourful lanterns as the procession headed to the town centre, under the watchful eye of staff from Discreet Security and police officers.
The parade made a circuit of the market place before finishing near the Christmas tree where the participants sang carols.
The lanterns were made at a drop-in workshop at Great Yarmouth Library.
They were made of willow and tissue paper and took around one to two hours to make.
The workshop and materials were supplied for free by Great Yarmouth Town Centre Partnership.
