Memories of Great Yarmouth will be raising funds for a charity 
which looks after older people and their pets.

Local historian Colin Smith will be remembering Yarmouth of 50 years ago is a special talk at Christchurch in the town on Thursday, March 29.

The event will raise money for the Cinnamon Trust and is being organised by local supporter and former borough mayor Shirley Weymouth.

The cost of a ticket is £10 and includes fish and chips, and they are available from Colin on 01493 844288 or Shirley on 01493 731625.

The Cinnamon Trust helps people over retirement age and those in the latter stages of a terminal illness by offering all kinds of pet care. Volunteers walk dogs and foster animals when owners need hospital care, fetch the cat food, and clean out the bird cage or litter trays.
