Great Yarmouth Community Trust’s Calthorpe Nursery teamed up with neighbouring Park House Residential Home to celebrate their annual Easter bonnet parade.
To prepare for the event some of the older children from the nursery went into Park House to make Easter bonnets and other crafts and decorations.
Then residents from Park House came to the nursery to form a panel of judges for the Easter bonnet parade. Competitors in the parade were divided into two age groups, with prizes for the first and second winners in each category.
Winners of the morning parade were Jayden, Adriya, Georgi and Jacob.
Winners of the afternoon parade were Kaison, Idny and Whitney and Idris.
The Easter event was part of a long term initiative to build relationships between the nursery children and Park House residents, arranged by Chloe Mansi, nursery manager, and Lisa Robson, activities Coordinator at Park House.
