Parking restrictions are to be introduced in Southtown Road, Great Yarmouth while works to improve the pavement take place.
The work will begin on, or shortly after, April 3 and will enable the pavement to be used by both pedestrians and cyclists along the length of the road.
A temporary parking restriction will be in place from April 3 to uly 13 on the western side of Southtown Road, from 79 metres south from the centre line of Cromwell Road to 20 metres north of the centre line of Waveney Road.
During this period, people will instead be able to park on the western side of Southtown Road between Queen Anne’s Road and Peter Doidge Car Audio Centre, where there will be a temporary suspension of double yellow lines.
A reduced carriageway lane width is required to allow works to be undertaken safely but Southtown Road will remain open to traffic and pedestrians.
