A grading took place at Great Yarmouth Primary Academy for some of the young members of the Chinto Karate group.

Chief instructor Sensei Tracy Pillar said: “I recently opened this club on Thursday evenings due to the success of the karate lessons we hold in the school as part of the children’s enrichment activities.

It’s nice to see those children doing these extra sessions as well as an influx of new members to our club.

“Since starting at the school we have seen the children flourish and I would like to thank the enrichment leader Mrs Tina Yaxley for working alongside us and giving us the opportunity to use their hall after school.”

All the students passed gradings with flying colours.
