Northgate Primary School choirs joined 9,000 pupils from across the county for the first ever Big Sing event.

The music festival on Thursday, May 3, was blessed with blue skies and children were treated to performances from Alexandra Burke and Clean Bandit singer, Kirsten Joy.

Sarah Young, special educational needs and disabilities co-ordinator at Northgate Primary School, said: “The children had a wonderful time singing together and experiencing such a big music event with other children. We hope to do it again next year.”

The event was organised by Norfolk Music Hub and pupils were guided through a number of singalongs by guest conductor and vocal coach, Mark De-Lisser.
