Great Yarmouth racecourse has welcomed a very special visitor to the track.
Genna Brown was invited as a guest of honour to celebrate her 100th birthday on June 7, attending with her son Peter.
Mrs Brown said she first visited the course as a very young girl when it was situated in South Denes.
She said she could remember the layout of the race cards and the roar of the horses as they thundered past the winning line.
On the day, Mrs Brown watched on as Frankie Dettori won the third race.
Staff at the racecourse presented Mrs Brown with a spring bouquet to mark the occasion.
Glenn Tubby, the executive director of Great Yarmouth Racecourse, said: βIt is always good to welcome new and regular visitors to the course, but this was an exception and a pleasure to meet Genna as our guest, and we are all glad she enjoyed her special day with us here.β
