Work has begun on the proposed site of Norfolk’s first Taco Bell - and signage shows it could be serving hungry punters until as late as 4am.
The US fast food giant has picked a unit in Great Yarmouth’s Regent Road as the home of its first restaurant in Norfolk.
And it appears work to fit out the new store has begun after workmen moved in.
The unit is the former home of Spudulike.
Signage in the window shows that the company’s licensing application includes a request to have permission to serve food and drink until 2am during the week, and 4am on Fridays and Saturdays.
According to the sign, it is hoped the restaurant would open at 10.30am each day, and be able to serve alcohol.
The chain’s intentions to open a new site were revealed after it started looking for staff.
An advert on job site Indeed said the branch was expected to open in December.
The restaurants serve a variety of Tex-Mex foods that include tacos, burritos, quesadillas, nachos, novelty and specialty items.
