A GREAT Yarmouth taxi driver was described as having had a lucky escape when a brick was thrown at his vehicle as he drove along Southtown Road in Yarmouth.
The incident happened between 2.40pm and 2.50pm on Monday when the Albies black VW Transporter van was travelling towards Yarmouth.
The van was passing Bollard Quay when a one of a group of up to 15 youths threw a brick, hitting the bonnet and damaging the bodywork before bouncing over the vehicle.
The youths ran from the scene along Queen Anne’s Road and one fled on a ‘P’ reg moped, believed to be black and red.
