GREENACRE pupils were all involved in making fruit smoothies on Friday at the end of Safeguarding Week. The focus this year has been the healthy child. The children chopped fruit and then used exercise to work the Smoothie making machine which was powered by a bicycle. The children then enjoyed the result of their labours. Janet Sinclair organised the event and Mel Copping of Greenacre Children's centre staff provided the machine. Children across the whole school took part and thoroughly enjoyed the healthy experience!
