REGULARS at the Coachmakers pub are to shave their hairy friend’s beard, hair and eyebrows off to raise cash for charity.
Jim West, 64, of Great Yarmouth, was coerced into the fundraising event when pals said he could help the Blind Society and Yarmouth charity, the Ben and Lucy Fund. Drinkers at the Market Place pub have already raised �150, and will set to work making Jim bald on Boxing Day.
To see Jim’s hair being shorn, head to the Coachmakers at around 3.30pm on Boxing Day.
Other local businesses have clubbed in with prizes to be auctioned off, including a �20 meat voucher and, aptly, a free haircut.
